2 Days and 13 Hours
Yes! Two and a half more days before school reopens.
Yes, hardly the reaction you would have expected from me.
No, a miracle hasn't happen.
Yes, I still have some unfinished holiday homework.
No, I'm not yet fully prepared for the Chemistry test.
So WHY?
Let's just say I am 'homesick' (as in like 'seasick', 'homesick'; and not 'I-miss-home-so-much' homesick) and hate being confined at home.
Home is a place where fun hardly exists. School is a place where all the fun is, even though they try really hard to make it not so.
In school, they try to make you miserable.
At home, you feel miserable.
There's hardly anything to do at home but homework, studies and household chores. And the constant bugging of parents really doesn't help.
And then there are the three F-words.
Friends, football and finance (yes, pocket money). But I don't really have the time to play football that much now. Probably only during lunch break and maybe after school one day a week.
Two and a half more days, a long time or a short time?
Hopefully short enough to come quick, and long enough for me to complete all the homework, study for the tests and get geared up for school.
Two and a half more days.
Bring it on.

Humans
There are smart people. There are averagely intelligent people. Then there are dimmer witted people. Then there are stupid people.
And then there are people.
All people, in general, are stupid. Including you and me.
Somehow, no matter how clever human being claims we are, no matter how developed our brains are supposed to be and all, we are actually getting dumber.
To put it simply, the smarter we get, the stupider we become.
Why do I make such an apparently bold statement? It's simple.
All organisms on Earth, animals, plants or fungi, adapt themselves, such that they can live well in conditions, favourable or not for survival, and bare their offspring.
We humans have completely lost this ability and instead adapt the environment to suit us. And we harm it in the process.
All orgamisms on Earth, animals, plants or fungi, live and reproduce. Their purpose of life is just to live life and reproduce. To ensure the continuity of its species.
We humans always question the purpose of life. The meaning of life. I mean, just shut up man. You've been given life, just let live and enjoy. And ENSURE THE CONTINUITY OF OUR SPECIES.
All organisms do everything they can to ensure the survival and continuity of their individual species.
We humans, on the other hand, are doing quite the the opposite. We kill. War, terrorism, violence, abuse... We create holes in the ozone layer. We pollute the environment, so that our descendents can be born deformed and live in a polluted world where the air has colour, the rain can corrode, the rivers are black, the fishes are sick, and the ground has radiation. We use up our descendents' resources. We clear forests. We drill their oil, use up their fossil fuels. We cause global warming, and, like my first point has stated, humans most probably won't be able to adapt to the heat. Water levels will rise, causing floods for our descendents.
Oh, and I am constantly hearing from a certain mad man in the U.S. who apparently is even madder than me. God knows when he will decide to wage war with the whole world and start a mass nuclear strike. Then, I am sure he will be hiding somewhere underground...
And not just do we harm and threaten the continuity of our species, we harm and threaten the continuity of other species. We clear forests. Kill animals. Cut off the fins of sharks. We overfish. We threaten to destroy their habitats by pollution, creating deserts...
We are selfish and stupid. And from the looks of it, we won't improve, and neither can I or anyone in the world help. Because even I am selfish and stupid.
And as bad as it may sound coming from me, you are too.
(Unless, of course, you live in a cave somewhere and don't use electricity. And you musn't even create fire for warmth or light at night. Because, even then, you will be releasing gases which will harm the environment. If other animals don't need fire, neither do you.
But if you really are exactly what I have just described, I question why you will even be reading this.)

Holidays(?)
Well, the one month-long term holidays are coming to an end.
Technically speaking, holidays refer to a period where one takes a break from work-related stuffs and relax. Another meaning is to go off on a leisurely trip overseas.
Haven't really been 'holiday'-ing then...
But I'm not complaining. I think (and hope) I will benefit from the mugging in time to come...
Let's hope it has been fruitful. If not, there goes twenty-eight days of my youth...
And to fellow readers (if there are any left): I really am unable to blog regularly because a) I'm busy; b) I'm not allowed to; c) All the computers at home have been secured to prevent any of my siblings or me to use them; d) Blogging ain't really that fun, and I don't always have stuffs to share.
You shouldn't even be reading this now. Go mug, it's not too late to start if you haven't. Or maybe it is...
'Nuff said.
